- Dear Great Granny.

My boyfriend and I had been seeing each other for 4 months, when he
found out I cheated on him 4 times.
I have been trying all summer to get him to go back out with me, and
last Friday, he finally asked me back out.
Well, things haven't been too good. I called him last night, because
he didn't return my call, and some girl answered his phone!! He
doesn't have a sister, and his mom was at work. When I asked him who
was over there, he just said some "friends" and we ended up hanging up
on each other.
I have already cheated on him again, and I'm attracted to a couple
other guys, but I really like my boyfriend.
Do you think I should try and work it out and call him, or dump him?

You don't need to dump him because he has already dumped you. Forget him
and even forget looking for a steady boyfriend. You're not ready for that yet.
Until you've found someone who will be enough for you, all by himself, without
any other playmates, you may as well not even think of settling on one boy.
Maybe you'll never be able to be faithful to one guy so don't expect
miracles. It's too bad you need so many different boys to keep you
entertained. The girls who are satisfied with one nice boy are the lucky
ones. Probably you'll have the same need for variety all your life so
you can look forward to stormy times ahead. I hope you have the strength
to cope with it all.
